Airlines lose 25 million bags a year
My daughter is 15 and is flying with her brother alone on an international connecting flight.
Since the airline that they’re flying on considers her to be an adult, is it still necessary for me to ask for UM service because of my son’s age?
Or is it all right for them to fly solo without UM service since my son is traveling with an “adult?”
Okay, I’m trying to send my daughter (minor) on a mileage ticket from Athens (Greece) to California. But apparently, American Airlines doesn’t fly out of Athens, someone would have to take her from another major city elsewhere in Europe and put her on the plane. Are there any other airlines theyre affiliated with that could fly from here to Cali, using our AA mileage? We were thinking one world but w’ere not sure…..HELP!

I also saw that with other airlines pets cannot travel from June 1 to September 30. Does anyone have any recommendations or information? Will her breed also be restricted when we try to rent a house?
P.S. We’re only going to be living in Seattle for two years. We’re going to spend time there since my Dad is very ill. Is it ridiculous to think about taking the dog?
When I say that the passenger is just one child, no adults, Orbitz says I have to contact an agency. Would just listing the passenger as an adult, then buying the ticket, work the same? Even though technically the kid is seventeen…
Thanks for all the answers!
Yes, he’s flown by himself before, but I’ve never bought his tickets online before. So it’s okay if I list him as an adult on the ticket, that I’m buying through Orbitz? (Orbitz says that adults are 18 and up)
My daughter is going to travel from JFK airport in New York to LAX airport in Los Angeles. What airline will allow her to travel alone with no additional fee?

(i dont care about pay… just want to travel overseas) The reason its for a year is because I want to go to uni afterwards. I fulfil all the requirements on the Qantas website – but would an airline hire me? or am i just dreaming?

Based on the policies of many of our hotel partners, at least one person in your party must be at least 21 years old. In addition, persons under the age of 18 may not travel on airline tickets purchased through priceline unless they are accompanied by an adult, 18 years of age or older.
Couldn’t we just have our parents book/buy the plane tickets and hotel reservations? Would we still need someone over 21 to be with us to sign into the hotel once we have our parents book it?
