Hi it’s my first international flight and I’m a bit worried because I have two
first names, “Mary Elizabeth”. But my aunt’s boss who booked for me at JetStar
Airlines only placed “Mary” and my surname. Will be there be any problems on
that? I told her that the name on the ticket and passport must match for
international flights but she insisted that there won’t be a problem with that.
I know she has more experience in air travel but I’m not convinced with her.
Read More...I am a F-1 student. Whenever I enter the U.S., I will be given an I-94 form for departure record. Everytime I leave the country, the Custom officer is supposed to take the I-94 away from me. It is not true in my case. Most of the time I leave the country, I travel from Knoxville, TN to Los Angeles (domestic-United Airline) and from Los Angeles to Hong Kong (international-Cathey Pacific). However, no one took my I-94 away! I have three I-94 forms attached in my passport now! Where am I supposed to meet the officers that will take it away? In Knoxville? Los Angeles? In which area? I was there where I checked in my bags, but it was an airline counter only! I was not able to find it! Thank you very much!

So I was supposed to get my passport today, according to the Passport Agency, but I didn’t get it. I tried calling the Agency but they don’t work on weekends.
So I tried calling the airline to ask if I could travel to Mexico without a passport, but with a birth certificate and photo I.D., but the guy with the foreign accent couldn’t answer my question and just told me to check online. I asked if he could refer me to somewhere where they could have the information, he just said he didn’t know.

I have the appointment to go to an passpor service ( which only serves person that is travel in 14 days or less) tommorow night. I am in the US and I am traveling to the Philippines this coming December 2008 and returning January 2009.
My passport is due to expire on March 2009.
I cannot have it renewed now because it takes 6 weeks and I’m leaving before I can get my new passport.
The embassy suggested that they write a letter to the airline that I should be granted entry to the Philippines and that I should renew my passport as soon as I get there. I called the airline and they said that they will make a note on my reservation but there is not guarantee.
What should I do?
