I want to find the cheapest way to go. Flight, reservations, etc. Obviously I don’t want to stay in a H E double hockey sticks-hole, but i have heard of people getting awesome rates! What websites do I go to? Or what airline? Is there a cruise that is super cheap for two people???

Is this free Bahamas cruise a scam?

My best friend and I entered one of those drawings at a Chinese food restaurant about a month ago, for a free Bahamas cruise, 4 days and 3 nights. Yesterday, I got a call from a woman who told me I won! She said I have 18 months to schedule my cruise. So she gave me a phone number to call for a recording with more information about the cruise and she gave me a claim number. The recording was by a man who said he was the owner of something- Travel Agency (I don’t remember the name). He talked about the cruise for a while and said I need to go to the travel agency by Friday to claim the cruise or something. Problem is, I don’t want to drive there if it’s going to be a waste of my time. What do you think? Is it a scam?

Atlantis Hotel In The Bahamas?

Ok well my parents want to go to the The Reef Hotel Part of The Atlantis Hotel Chain in The Bahamas. I have a question. We all live here in Orlando but I wanted to know, how do you get to the Bahamas? Do we take a plane there? Cruise??? I’m lost. If u’ve traveled there from FLA to the Bahamas how long was the trip? I’m afraid of air planes but I would ride one to get to the hotel.

my husband and i will be leaving to the Bahamas at the end of aug…?

my husband and i will be leaving to the bahamas at the end of aug. we will be staying at the atlantis and i know there are a lot of activities on the resort. but we wanted to travel around the island. are there any activity packages we can purchase when we get there (or before we get there) that will save us some money on activities and/or food? tours, cruises, etc. also what are some fun activities we can do there that are not water activities. i cant really swim that well but my husband can do the water activities

Free Bahamas cruise for 2 enclosed… no strings attached?

I received a letter in the mail from Imperial Majesty Cruise Line Vacations records department. Free cruise voucher not including port charges and gov. fees, and a $1,300.00 travel voucher. Called the 1-800 number. They informed me that the cruise was automatically mine and was a 30th anniversary type of thing. Pretty much you take the cruise and when you get home you tell everyone about it. Drum them up business word of mouth. They tried to sell an extended package for it but I didn’t have to purchase it. Any body ever done this and how was it?

Security Travel USA “won” free bahamas cruise and 4days/3nights accommodations?

Yeah, I was taken by this. Now I want a refund for my $87.50 is there anyone who had any luck getting this?

I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve fallen for this. I thought I was a bit more cautious, but apparently not. I knew it sounded fishy when I was listening to the nearly 10-minute long instructions.

My girlfriend was the one who discovered the voicemail and she went absolutely nuts, screaming, yelling, jumping up and down. I’ven ever seen her so excited. After listening to the “tax” and “administration” fees I was somehow convinced it was a good deal. (but why should it be a “good deal” it’s supposed to be FREE!) — Why didn’t i think about that before i gave them my credit card? UGH! I hate learning the hard way.

If you have free airfare to either Cancun, Bahamas, Jamaica, Miami for a cruise, etc. where would you go?

Hi, we gave up our seats on a flight home from Florida to St. Louis and the airline gave us 2 free roundtrip tickets to anywhere they fly. We would only have to pay for hotels and food, or if a cruise, just the price of the cruise. We are 44 years old and are stuck on deciding where to go and what to do with our free tickets. Tropical Places Air Tran flies: Cancun, Aruba, Bahamas, Jamaica, Miami, Key West, and I think Cabo San Lucas. We only want to spend about 1200 bucks total for 3 nights somewhere. (This would need to include food and hotel/ or the total price for the cruise). We’ve never cruised before so I don’t know if I’d like that or not. We looked into all inclusive places in Cancun that looked great but don’t know which place is best. I checked out Atlantis in the Bahamas but that place seemed overpriced for about 1700 for 3 nights. We heard Jamaica has gone done hill somewhat and crime is a problem, not for sure on that though. Let me know what you’d do and where you’d go if you have traveled to any of these places. Activities we like to do: lounge around on a beach, sip drink at a tiki hut, look for shells, eat lots of food (seafood, yum!), take a little cruise to see dolphins or to go to a private island, gamble possibly, see a show maybe, but nothing that 20 year olds like, not too wild of partying etc. , more relaxed and secluded beaches preferably. Do I need a visa to enter the Bahamas if im going on a cruise that’s staying there less than a day?

I know I do need one if im travelling by air, since im not a US citizen, and Im from one of the counties that do require a visa.. But I was wondering whether its different if im staying there less than a day.. Because Mexico does require a visa, unless am on a cruise that stays there less than 24 hours..
