If you are thinking of where to have your wedding there are some gorgeous places all over the United States to have it at. It goes with out saying though if you have the opportunity to have a wedding near the beach then it should be somethig that you consider. Nothing is more romantic than having a wedding on the beach at sunset in an relaxed atmosphere. Some beaches around the United States are nicer than others, but the goal of doing a wedding on the beach is to have a place that is quiet, clean, has good weather year round if possible. Myrtle Beach has all that and some more. If you have people coming from out of town you want to have things for them to do besides attending your wedding. The wedding will only be one day and then the couple ends up leaving on their honeymoon. So when your guests are done watching you get married they will then want to have something else to entertain them.
There are a lot of amusements in Myrtle Beach to keep your family and friends happy once they are done. There are theme parks, broadway like shows, beaches (of course), great shopping and good food.

There are some things to consider if you are planning a wedding at Myrtle Beach. First thing to consider is that the city will allow non-commercial weddings on the beach all day. You don’t even have to ask anyone about it. Just show up and walk down to the beach and you are good to go. Now I am not sure about you, but I know that I wouldn’t have wanted to have a wedding with out the whole commercial stuff that goes with weddings. So if you are wanting to have a commercial wedding on the beach you will not be able to do it. This is a let down for anyone that was planning on it. However I have found a loophole in the whole process. You can contact private properties who have lots that extend to the high tide line.
Another thing that you can do is contact some of the beautiful parks that have oceanfront and have a wedding there. However in some cases you have to deal with the park still being open to the public. There are forms that you can use to get around this, you can the “facility Use Permit and a Shelter Rental form. Last thing to consider is making sure that you have your marriage license finished. You can get this at the Horry Couty Probate Court their number is 843-915-5370. Just make sure you have all this figured out before hand so to make it easier.
