Are you only supposed to wear Sperry Topsiders for boating?

No! I love wearing Sperry Top-siders. Yes, they were (and are a boat shoe) but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear them!
everybody at my school wheres them with everyday outfits, and i think they look cute. But i think its just where you live or go to school that depends on the fashion. Like if you lived near the ocean you’d probably just where them boating. But i live nowhere close to the ocean and people where them like normal shoes. I guess that kinda makes sense? Oh well its 2:30 in the am gimme a break
I have like three pairs. I live on the Maryland “peninsula” so old people wear them A LOT around here, but so do young people. I guess the more preppy people wear Sperry’s here. They are a cute fashion statement & I would wear them with some ripped skinnies and a hot top (:
