Motion Sickness and Deep Sea Fishing?

So I’m thinking about doing this Deep Sea Fishing Excursion when I go to Cancun next week. I’ve been on some boats before, and in my past experience I have not gotten motion sickness. But then again most boats I were on were more cruise ships and the rocking was never too intense…so I have no idea if i’m succeptible to motion sickness or not.
Anyway should I take drugs to prevent it just in case then…or just find out if I do get motion sickness or not? I’ve been on long road trips via car/rv/busses no problem. I have no issues with air travel bumpy or smooth either. If you do suggest I take drugs..what kind do you recommend? are they easy to find like in Walgreens or other pharmacys? Thank you

I always say I get seasick in the bathtub, but we love to travel, so I’ve never let it stop me! I always take something before I get in a boat…. but if you’re not sure, you probably don’t want to “pre-medicate”. You can watch what you eat before you go… maybe eat some ginger. And you could try a wrist band.
Here’s our page on motion sickness…. http://www.mousetourstravels.com/travel-motion-sickness.html you can see some of the options.
Happy travels… even if you don’t travel the world… just remember that life is a journey… embrace and enjoy it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com
