How do you check out an on line company before doing business with them?

I am planning a trip for 12 people and the prices at Cruise Deals Online.com are a lot better than my travel agent’s prices. But I don’t know this company. How do I find out if they are what they claim to be?

Try calling the Better Business Bureau in your area..They should have some info on them.

Go to bbb.com which is the link for the Better Business Bureau and they can give you any information about the company and it’s reputation for legal business practices. I have checked up on unknown companies on there before, and they have been very helpful. Have a good and safe trip and a good night!

I tend not to deal with online tour companies (or any companies for that matter) unless they’re well known and have a good reputation. I looked at the Cruise Deals Online site and they actually have a Better Business Bureau member logo on their site, but I was reading that you really cannot go by that because online companies can change their names rapidly and go out of business and pop up as another. I noticed that Carnival Cruises was one of the carriers on the website. I don’t know if this would work, but I would try contacting Carnival Cruises and finding out if this was one of their legitimate vendors.
