Winter Vacation For Your Toenails

Most men can sit this one out…

Nail polish has become a fairly commonplace site, not just on the fingernails, but also on the toenails. Some women I meet go for weekly pedicures, which ends up being the highlight of the week. In extreme cases, some women even wear acrylic nails and tips on their toenails.

Ladies, I am not here to tell you to not wear polish on your toenails. I’ve tried, I’ve lost, I’ve given up. I do understand that when a woman wears an open toed shoe or sandal, they enjoy having polish on their nails. I get it!

Bend, Oregon: Great American Vacation Getaway?

When you think about great American vacation towns, Orlando, New York, Las Vegas, or San Diego might come to mind. But what about Bend, Oregon? Unlike the previously mentioned cities, saying, "I’m off to visit Bend," is likely to get you a quizzical look as if to say, "Where the heck is Bend?" lest you mention the state where it resides.

While Bend, Oregon might not be a place you have to worry about booking lodging months in advance for, nor is it the hotspot that Miami and other big towns are, its central location in Oregon, where it transitions from the Ponderosa Pine forest to the Great Basin high desert plateau, is an ideal vacation spot for active folks or families that want to cram as much fun into a getaway as they can.

Why You Should Rent a Vacation Home–and How to Do It

For years, the typical family vacation revolved around staying in a distant, far-off hotel. And while no one can object to letting someone else make your bed and leave a mint on the pillow, the steep prices for rooms–along with the costs of constantly eating out–can discourage any parents planning their children’s adventure. This is why renting a vacation house has become increasingly popular and affordable, as more people are shunning the hotel for an actual "home away from home."

Tourists appear to be waiting till the last moment to book a Balearic Islands vacation this year. As we get well into 2009, bookings are down by nearly 20 percent across the board: the largest drop in nearly 20 years.

In previous years hotels and resorts on the Balearic Islands were booked six to eight months in advance. The most popular rental areas reported advanced bookings of up to 10 months during prime vacation months. This doesn’t mean tourists aren’t visiting the islands; they’re just waiting longer to book their vacation.

Wailea Beach Villas Review – Maui Vacation Rental Info

Some discover the Wailea Beach Villas (WBV) through LuxuryLink. The directory for affluent travelers who want to find the most suitable and comforting luxury locations in the world. I discovered the WBV through a friend who owns a condo in Hawaii. Staying at the Maui Escape, a brand new, luxuriously furnished unit in prestigious WBV. Granted what makes the Villas is ultra luxury touch. Being right on Wailea Beach glassy see through waters makes it close to impossible to find yourself lost in thought of the mainland problems. This residential resort, as I was told by locals in Maui, is the best on the island. Nothing does compare, when combining luxury and paradise, in Wailea. Dare I proclaim that this luxury residential resort, located in the heart of Wailea, Maui is the finest in luxury destination resorts?
